MBC Action will exclusively broadcast the FIA Formula One World Championship in the MENA region from 2019 to 2023.
MBC Group has won the exclusive rights to broadcast the FIA Formula One World Championship for 2019 until the year 2023. This marks the return of the worlds biggest motorsport event to a free-to-air network in the MENA region, following years of being available on subscription-only networks.
The FIA Formula One World Championship aired on MBC Action, with the channel covering all stages of each event, including training sessions, qualifiers, and the Grand Prix day.
As part of MBC Groups agreement with the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile), MBC Actions production team have ensured special technical and logistical arrangements to provide the best live broadcast experience for Formula One fans across the region. Each Grand Prix will include correspondents on site, bringing the latest news from the ground, with exclusive analytical coverage coming from MBCs studios, courtesy a number of guest commentators.
The 2019 season of the championship commences in March 2019 with the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019 in Melbourne, followed by the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2019 to be held from 29-31 March 2019. The final event of the season, the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019, will take place 29 November to 1 December 2019.
