The new radio station MBC Loud FM follows a Contemporary Hit Radio format.
MBC Group celebrated the launch of MBC Loud FM in the Saudi capital yesterday evening, May 22, which took place at Anghami Lab in Boulevard Riyadh City.
The launch event of the brand-new radio station was attended by a host of celebrities, media, influencers, strategic partners and advertisers of MBC Group.
Designed for English-speaking and international music fans, MBC Loud FM is a Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) format that has reportedly never been launched before in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Speaking at the launch event, Sam Barnett, CEO of MBC Group, said: “If people ask what the space for radio is in our world of podcasts and digital streaming, then the answer is in numbers. MBC Loud FM will be available on Riyadh – 99.0, Jeddah – 94.3, and Dammam – 88.5 frequencies.
