MBC3 and Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) have announced the extension of their partnership for the broadcast of Nickelodeon programming across the MENA region.
MBC3, the free-to-air kids’ entertainment channel, has just made its latest selection as part of a multi-year deal with VIMN for Nickelodeon programming.
As part of the renewed deal, MBC3 will air a number of brand new programmes that have never previously aired in the region, including the next generation series of the world famous global phenomenon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as new CGI series Robot and Monster, pre-school hit Bubble Guppies, Russian kids’ animation Kikoriki, Planet Sheen, Legend of Korra and Invader Zim.
Among the live action titles in the latest MBC3 Nickelodeon deal are Fred: The Show, played by online phenomenon Lucas Cruickshank, Supah Ninjas and The Troop.
New seasons of much-love Nickelodeon programmes SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, iCarly, Victorious, Kung Fu Panda and Tuff Puppy will also hit screens across the region as part of the deal.
Nickelodeon content will continue to air on MBC3 throughout the week for one hour of preschool in the morning, and for one and a half hours of animation and live action in the afternoon, in addition to live action in the evening.
Furthermore, a digital media agreement between VIMN and MBC3 covers online gaming of Nickelodeon properties and online replays.
