Based on a non-fiction novel by Ahmed Mourad, Vertigo has been scripted by Mohammed Nayer and directed by Othman Abu Laban. The series features many famous faces such as Egyptian actress Hend Sabry, and also stars Yosra El Lozy, Ayman Qassiouni, Mahmoud El Gendy, Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Rateb, among many others.
Vertigos plot revolves around a woman named Farida, the character played by Sabry. As the story progresses, Farida, who has become the sole witness of this horrific crime, has the only evidence of the murder taken with her own camera. Threatening events in her life begin to unfold as Farida becomes adamant to discover who is behind the murder and she treads on dangerous grounds discovering that high ranking officials in the country are presumably involved in the crime.
