Musicians and industry professionals are encouraged to join the Saudi Music Community Database to connect with like-minded creatives and explore new collaboration opportunities.
MDLBeast Radio, in partnership with Goast Flower record label, hosted the first-ever Saudi Music Community gathering at BEAST House in Diriyah, Riyadh. This event brought together artists, producers and industry professionals for an evening dedicated to fostering collaboration, networking and growth within Saudi Arabia’s evolving music landscape.
The Saudi Music Community is more than just an event—it serves as a vital platform for artistic exchange and industry development. Set against the ambience of BEAST House, the gathering allowed attendees to share insights, aspirations and experiences, shaping the future of music in the Kingdom. Musab Bin Sultan (Artist Manager) said: “The music scene here is still small, but it’s growing fast. Everyone in this room is a pioneer, shaping what the Saudi music community will become.”
A key initiative unveiled at the event was the Saudi Music Community Database, spearheaded by Saudi artist Tamtam and her label, Goast Flower. Initially designed as a personal resource, the database has since evolved into a networking tool, connecting local musicians and industry professionals. By fostering collaboration within the Kingdom, it helps artists find and work with local talent rather than outsourcing collaborations abroad. “This community isn’t just about work and projects—it’s about having a space to connect, share experiences, and support one another,” added Tamtam, the founder of Goast Flower and the Saudi Music Community.
Recognising the importance of grassroots initiatives, MDLBeast Radio collaborated with Goast Flower to co-host the Suhoor gathering and amplify the Saudi Music Community Database. MDLBeast Radio has long championed local talent, and this partnership aligns with its mission to nurture and expand Saudi Arabia’s growing music industry.
Rohit Jayakaran, Head of MDLBeast Radio, stated: “At MDLBeast Radio, our mission is to amplify the voices of the region’s music scene—not just on air, but on the ground where real connections happen. When we learned about the Saudi Music Community Database, we saw an opportunity to contribute to something truly grassroots—something built by the community, for the community.”
One of the evening’s most memorable highlights was the merchandise exchange, where artists swapped exclusive items such as limited-edition apparel, vinyl records and handcrafted accessories. This initiative embodied the spirit of collaboration and mutual support, reinforcing the sense of unity within Saudi Arabia’s music scene.
Building on the success of the Riyadh gathering, the Saudi Music Community events will expand to Khobar on April 9 and Jeddah on April 16. These upcoming events aim to connect even more artists and industry professionals, further strengthening the country’s creative ecosystem.
