In an attempt to support the Arabic Film Industry and introducing viewers from across the region to industry pioneers, MBC 2 has started airing its brand new production of short segments or fillers under the title of Me and the Cinema. The segments will be repeated over a period of three minutes, during breaks in programming, and will feature recent achievements of industry pioneers from Arab cinema; how they have been affected by great Arab film personalities of world cinema in general, and Hollywood, in particular.
Me and the Cinema will focus on five different personalities every week from the Arabic Film industry, including Nada Abu Farahat, Hani Abou Asaad, Ali Mustapha, Bushra, Younes Bawwab, Nabil Ayyoush, Hend Sabri, Iskandar Qotbi, Ali Sleiman, Dareen Hamza and Mohamed Diab, among many others.
