German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) has appointed Dubai-based Media Specs Corporate Solutions as its distribution and marketing agency in the GCC. The appointment came as a result of a successful event that took place in Dubai which was part of DWs television re-launch for the Middle East market.
“We are very excited to work with a brand like DW. We believe there is a lot of communication potential for the brand and we are looking forward to supporting DWs content and media platforms strategy in the region. This partnership will allow us to deliver more efficient, consistent, and urbane support for the distribution and marketing activities, stated Raghid Eid, CEO of Media Specs.
“Media Specs have proved their level of creativity and professionalism during the re-launch of DW in the UAE market and we are looking forward to more successful collaborations. DW (ARABIA) was re-launched in the Middle East on September 12, 2011, with a new grid and content, offering a diverse range of magazines and programs in Arabic during primetime, and focusing mainly on establishing a dialogue between Europe and the Arab world. So far, the success stories have started to add up with in the first few months.
