Andrew Davies, former EMEA head of Diversified Media & Entertainment and more recently at the helm of Nordlys Broadcast, will now take on the role of Group CEO at Mediability.
Mediability AS has acquired Nordlys Broadcast Limited, marking a strategic step towards leadership in the EMEA software systems integrator landscape.
Following this acquisition, Mediability is set to strengthen its position, extending its expert delivery capabilities across key regions and cities in EMEA, including London, Dubai, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Bergen. This expansion underscores Mediability’s commitment to enhancing its expertise and service offerings.
Andrew Davies, formerly leading the Media & Entertainment division of Diversified in EMEA and more recently at the helm of Nordlys Broadcast, will now assume the role of Group CEO at Mediability. Davies emphasises the company’s focus on innovating within the Media and Entertainment sector and said: “Harnessing the potential of software-as-a-service, cloud, IP, and AI, we’re shaping the future of broadcast software integration for the industry, all while retaining our prowess in traditional projects.”

The merger also sees key leadership appointments, with Ole Johan Skogheim taking on the role of Group CTO and Nils Olav Sundsteigen assuming the positions of Group CCO and CEO of Mediability Scandinavia.

As an integral part of the Fonn Group, a prominent Norwegian technology conglomerate, Mediability has been a notable investment since 2016. Haavard Myklebust, Chairman of Mediability, emphasized the company’s response to the evolving media landscape and stated: “As the media landscape consolidates, the industry leans towards more robust companies.
