European media technology solutions provider MediaPower returns to CABSAT with a showcase of its three flagship products with key announcements of upcoming features: Arkki, a media asset management solution-in-a-box; AirGo, an all-in-one production and play-to-air system; and NewsTouch, a touch-based, live presentation standalone appliance.
Arkki. Store, catalogue, retrieve, and manage content through a media asset management solution-in-a-box. Arkki combines a powerful and efficient MAM technology with a robust storage platform. Its search engine boasts a rough-cut and sub-clip generation facility that enables users to find and edit content in seconds. After a successful launch in 2013 where Arkki won NAB 2013s Pick Hit Award for MAM, this year, Arkki will be breaking ground with support for larger scale systems and more enterprise features.
AirGo. Production, ingest, and play-to-air functionalities now come in a single 2RU ready-to-go box. AirGo is a scalable multi-channel broadcasting platform that can also serve as a turnkey solution for multi-channel broadcasting that combines automation, playout, and interactive graphics overlay in one system with up to 30TB of storage.
NewsTouch. Broadcast press clippings, live video, or sports commentary using a touch-based interface. NewsTouch is a standalone, multimedia presentation appliance for a live broadcasting environment. It features scroll, zoom, rotate, and interactive drawing tools, controlled by easy-to-master and intuitive gestures. Launched in 2013 where it was recognized by TV Technology with a STAR Award at IBC, this 2014, NewsTouch will very soon go mobile with its support for professional tablets as input devices.
MediaPower will join CABSAT 2014 through one of its premier technology partners, Etere, and will conduct live demos of Arkki and NewsTouch at Hall 2 Stand E7-41.
