European technology provider MediaPower, a first time exhibitor at BroadcastAsia 2013, will use the exhibition to announce a new office in Hong Kong. MediaPower Asia will be headed by General Manager Eric Demillian.
The company, which recently launched its product lineup in Korea and Japan this year, will showcase its three newest solutions: Arkki, a media asset management solution-in-a-box; AirGo, an all-in-one production and play-to-air system; and NewsTouch, a touch-based, live presentation standalone appliance at BroadcastAsia.
MediaPower will be at booth 5K4-05, level 5 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on June 18-21, 2013.
The new lineup includes
- Arkki. NAB Pick Hit Awardee media asset management solution-in-a-box. Store, catalog, retrieve, and manage content. Arkki combines a powerful and efficient MAM technology with a robust storage platform of up to 64TB. Its search engine boasts a rough-cut and sub-clip generation facility that enables users to find content in seconds. It is easy to manage by business users and administrators alike, with workspace customization and system utilization monitoring. On top of it all, Arkki is accessed via a web interface for a truly cloud-enabled business experience.
- AirGo. Production, ingest, and play-to-air functionalities now come in a single 2RU ready-to-go box. AirGo is a turnkey solution for multi-channel broadcasting that combines automation, playout, and interactive graphics overlay in one system with up to 30TB of storage.
- NewsTouch. Broadcast press clippings, live video, or sports commentary using a touch-based interface. NewsTouch is a standalone, multimedia presentation appliance for a live broadcasting environment. It features scroll, zoom, rotate, and interactive drawing tools, controlled by easy-to-master and intuitive gestures.
