This year’s hybrid market will roll out in three stages over six weeks from October 5 to November 17 and will take place in three stages.
After announcing its move to a hybrid in-person and online market model, MIPCOM 2020 has announced that more than 600 buyers have confirmed their participation in the first three weeks of August including more than 100 buyers for MIPCOM Rendezvous in Cannes from October 12-14.
All buyers are invited to MIPCOM for free and event organiser Reed MIDEM is individually inviting and curating top buyers to ensure a robust sales and acquisitions market both in Cannes and through online participation.
Buyers heading to Rendezvous Cannes, and those attending the market via Online+, will get access to from MIPCOM’s programme of content discovery and connections.
The 2020 event also features Global Upfronts, Market Screenings, CanneSeries, Market Intelligence, Future Talks and MIPJunior Screenings Library for content buyers.
This year’s hybrid market will roll out in three stages over six weeks from October 5 to November 17, starting with Online+ Warm-Up Week (from October 5), Main Stage Cannes Week in-person, at MIPCOM Rendezvous Cannes (October 12-14) and online, and Online+ Follow Up (October 15 – November 17). Each stage will offer original programming, business networking and replay opportunities.
