In addition to DStv, KIX will also be available on MultiChoice’s Showmax service starting October 2 2020, with 30 titles being offered on-demand every month.
MultiChoice Group and Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), operator of pan-Asian channels have announced the launch of action movie channel KIX, on MultiChoice’s DStv. It will be available on channel 114.
KIX will launch on DStv’s Premium, Compact Plus and Compact packages across Africa from October 1 at 9 pm (UAE time). The launch of KIX marks CTE’s first foray into Africa.
The channel will broadcast martial arts, action and thriller films from the East and West, all presented in English. Apart from the latest star-studded blockbuster premieres, KIX will also showcase never-seen-before films from the various action genres, including kung fu classics from the legendary Shaw Brothers library, action comedies, adventure and fantasy action franchises, and action thrillers.
