My-HD has signed a new partnership between Turner Broadcasting, a division of Time Warner, to offer four channels to its programming suite. The new channels include: CNN International HD, HLN (Headline News), Cartoon Network Arabic +2 and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). This is the first time that CNNi HD in DTH technology (Direct to Home) and HLN are available in the region.
CNN International HD enables viewers to follow a mix of live breaking international news and business, documentary, sport and feature output in a remarkably sharper image.
HLN is a CNN Worldwide channel focusing on the must-see, must-share stories of the day for the social media generation. The channel covers a broad segment of fast-paced and engaging topics ranging from parenting to money matters and celeb news.
Cartoon Network Arabic, one of the leading childrens entertainment channels in the MENA region, has a time shift version, enabling subscribers to watch their favourite cartoons 2 hours after their original broadcast. On air since 2010, Cartoon Network Arabic is known for some of the most popular comedy and action-adventure animation, including the hit shows Amazing World of Gumball, Ben 10: Omniverse and Adventure Time.
TCM network is a 24-hour broadcasting film channel and world-renowned for airing a rich blend of classics from all genres and ages. The channel has also defined new classics by presenting timeless contemporary productions that will continue to be watched for generations.
