The appointment of Essence Mediacom as the global media buying and planning agency marks an important milestone in Myco’s growth strategy.
Myco (formerly known as MContent), an entertainment and sports streaming platform, has appointed GroupM’s EssenceMediacom as its global media buying and planning agency of record.
The partnership will enable Myco to reach a wider audience and increase its market share, further establishing its position as a major brand in web3 video streaming, funding, production, and distribution.
This partnership will help Myco grow its brand and expand its global presence by leveraging EssenceMediacom’s expertise in media planning and buying.
As a fully decentralised video ecosystem, Myco offers live monetisation, crowdfunding, gating NFTs, and fractional ownership of content, all within a fully decentralised ecosystem. Additionally, Myco has AVOD enabled and will soon launch SVOD and FAST capabilities.
In the past year, Myco has seeded, funded, and curated more than 50 film & TV productions through its self-sustaining ecosystem in addition to the recent introduction of live sports with Watch & Earn mechanism.
Myco platform currently boasts almost 1.5m registered users from across the globe, 500 leading content creator channels, and over 100,000 user-generated videos. It also has a collection of original film productions (MyOriginals) and premium exclusive content.
