The former Head of Digital Delivery for BBC World Service will oversee the development of cloud-based content management platform Bee-On.
Never.no, the audience engagement specialist, has announced the permanent appointment of Karl Kathuria as Customer Solutions Director. Following the end of his contracted consultancy, Never.no signed Karl to direct customer relations strategy, and manage the design, development and production of Never.no’s solutions to reflect clients’ needs for broadcast and streaming markets.
Karl and his team will support customers to amplify their content and surface the user-generated content across social media and other platforms, to create a viewing experience with bespoke graphics output. Leading the Client Services team of a cross-disciplinary group, working in graphic design, training, account management, front-end development and content creation, Karl will also manage existing clients, developing new business, running projects to define on-screen graphics, and producing streaming media content for a variety of brands, agencies and broadcasters.

Karl has worked in the fields of broadcasting and technology for 20 years, having managed the BBC World Service online infrastructure, with involvement in the launch of many international news services, and the building of streaming solutions for hundreds of hours of output every week. After leaving the BBC, Karl worked in several technology and management roles up to the CEO level. He first joined Never.no in 2018 from his then home in Toronto, bringing his experience and expertise in digital, streaming and broadcasting initially to North American customers. As his role expanded, Karl took charge of the streaming platforms, directing and producing content that showcased Never.no’s technologies to a global audience.
