EUROSTAR Group, a major digital satellite systems supplier in the Middle East, has appointed Youssef Saidi as its new Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). Saidi will oversee operations across the entire group portfolio including Digital Satellite Receiving Systems, Consumer Electronics (CE), tablets, multimedia-pay TV, IPTV and tendering, along with FMCG goods and other parts of the business.
Speaking about his new role, Saidi said: One of the key aspects of my role is to strengthen the existing corporate culture with a systematic and process driven approach, which is necessary for the sustainable growth of an organisation heading towards becoming a world class multinational corporation. The strategy will involve careful planning, capitalising and establishing a synergy between the existing core businesses while achieving sustainable growth while building new partnerships across the region.
Saidi has previously held senior positions at PACE international and Philips Consumer Electronics.
