The rebranding follows Moments Lab’s investment into R&D and the launch of its AI indexing models, MXT-1.
AI and video search company, Newsbridge, has rebranded itself as Moments Lab, marking a significant evolution in its identity. The rebrand encompasses a new logo, visual identity, and company name that align with its mission of revolutionising video storytelling through the utilisation of multimodal and generative AI.
Speaking about the rebranding, Philippe Petitpont, co-founder, and CEO of Moments Lab, said: “We’ve come a long way since our company’s beginnings, and we’ve outgrown the name Newsbridge. Changing our name to Moments Lab reflects the innovations we’ve achieved with next-generation AI, the expanding scope of organisations that we’re working with, and the grand ambitions that we have to enhance the world of video storytelling.”
Moments Lab aims to empower content teams worldwide by eliminating sourcing roadblocks and enabling them to discover and utilise key moments within media libraries to craft impactful stories efficiently. The company’s AI indexing technology and workspace solutions play a pivotal role in achieving this goal, enabling organisations to tell engaging stories promptly and maximise the return on investment from their content.
The rebrand follows Moments Lab’s substantial investment in deep-tech R&D and the launch of its AI indexing models, MXT-1. These models received industry recognition, including the prestigious Peter Wayne Golden BaM Award in 2023. Moments Lab is set to unveil new features for MXT-1.5 at the NAB Show 2024 in Las Vegas.
Petitpont added: “Moments are what stories are made of, and a lab is where great discoveries are made. With our innovative AI-powered solutions, we provide users with easy access and insight into all of their audiovisual content, as well as connections to all of the tools and platforms where their content needs to thrive.”
Moments Lab will showcase its suite of AI and cloud-based solutions, powered by the latest version of its AI indexing models, at the 2024 NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 14-17.
