The newest addition to Nikon’s Z series was unveiled for the first time in the UAE at the Cinema Z Film Festival where the audience got an exclusive hands-on experience with the new camera.
Nikon Middle East FZE used the occasion of the second edition of its film festival dubbed Cinema Z to announce the launch of its latest mirrorless camera in the Z series – the Z50. The event, which had participation from more than 250 filmmakers and photographers, served as the perfect platform for Nikon to announce a camera that caters to the blogging, vlogging and online content creator community, who require compact filmmaking solutions.
Delivering 4K Ultra HD 1080p quality with time-lapse and slow-motion features, Z50 is the smallest interchangeable lens DX-format camera ever. With a wide lens mount, Z50 can shoot stills up to ISO 51,200 with virtually no noise, making it great for low-light shots.
Like the other cameras in the Z series, Z50 is also powered by Nikon’s EXPEED 6 image processing system. Weighing around 14 ounces, Z50 is compatible with all the NIKKOR Z lenses and approximately 360 compatible DSLR lenses.
Commenting on the new camera, Narendra Menon, Managing Director, Nikon Middle East said: “We are very proud to unveil our latest mirrorless camera, the Z50 amongst the people it is most suited for professionally. With this device, we have prioritised the needs of the blogging, vlogging and the entire online content creator community who need something small and simple that delivers sharp and uncompromised quality.”
