Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises, distributors of Midas and Klark Teknik in the Middle East have recently supplied the event services division at the Dubai International Exhibition and Conference Center with a new Midas PRO6. This purchase adds to their present inventory of a Midas Heritage 3000 and a Midas XL8, allowing them to take full advantage of the capabilities of the AES50 protocol.
The Midas PRO6 Live Audio System is the second networked digital audio system from Midas. Employing technologies developed from the class-leading XL8, the PRO6 offers the same exemplary sample – synchronised audio performance in a compact package.
The team at DWTC spent a lot of time determining which path to take when procuring their second digital console. They could either opt for another brand to have options, or stick to a Midas networked system to really have options, commented Chicco Hiranandani, business development manager at NMK.
He added, By having two consoles or more on the AES50 network, the customer can easily network audio between the stage and front-of-house positions irrespective of whether they are being mixed on a surface. This truly provides options that are left to the imagination of the systems engineer.
