Miranda Davidson, casting director and founder of Miranda Davidson Studios, will prepare budding actors for industry life in ‘How to Turn Your Acting Dreams into Reality: Navigating the Business Side of Acting’ on the Showcase Stage.
ON.DXB is reportedly offering over 100 different elements to explore across three festival days and with close to 60 sessions at its Industry Arena to watch film, game, video and music stars and talent. Some of the highlights include conversations with legendary filmmaker Spike Lee, Saudi-based gamer MjrmGames, American actress Liza Koshy and British artist Kano.
In addition to its stellar cast of international celebrities, ON.DXB’s roster of regional talent will offer up their own words of wisdom with Yalla YouTube. Iraqi content creator Noor Stars became the first Arab YouTuber to reach 10m subscribers earlier this year, while Saudi Arabia’s Dyler has gained millions of followers thanks to his mash-up of sketches and raps on everyday life. Leaders from the creative and media industries will discuss ‘How Women are Changing the Media Landscape’ in the region. TEDx speaker, video game developer Reine Abbas, the Co-Founder and COO of Wixel Studio, will explain why ‘Success Won’t Find You, You Need to Go and Earn It’ on the Circle Stage.
