OSN brings Doctor Who spin-off series Class, exclusively to BBC First HD.
Airing at the same time as the UK, Class is an eight-part mini-series that centres on the time-travelling adventures of students at the Coal Hill School, which has featured in the Doctor Who Universe since the very first episode, in 1963.
Heading the young ensemble cast will be Egyptian/British actor Fady Elsayed who plays Ram, Greg Austin as Charlie, Sophie Hopkins as April and Vivian Oparah as Tanya – all of whom will star as Sixth Formers at the London school. Katherine Kelly will play Miss Quill, a Coal Hill School teacher and Nigel Betts will take the role as Mr. Armitage from Into the Dalek, The Caretaker and Dark Water from the eighth series of Doctor Who, whilst Anna Shaffer will play Rachel.
Like all teenagers, the students at Coal Hill School have hidden secrets and desires as they face their own worst fears, navigating a life of friends, parents, school, and sorrow and possibly the end of their own existence. The Doctor and his time-travelling have made the walls of space and time stretch thin, and now monsters beyond imagination are planning to break through and wreak havoc upon the Earth and the youngsters need to be prepared.
