OSN has signed a multi-year deal with Eagle Films, a motion pictures distributor and exhibitor in the Middle East and North Africa, to have exclusive, first-run access to the latest top-grossing Hollywood titles.
David Butorac, Chief Executive Officer, OSN, said: One of the key differentials of OSN is the variety and number of premium movies we showcase. Our focus is to expand our global partnerships to bring brand-new and innovative content, which further establishes us as the network of choice in the region.
Eagle Films has a strong repertoire of top film titles, which will be brought exclusively and first on OSN. This partnership will complement our existing deals with international studios to bring even more world-class content to viewers across the region.
OSN will premiere an array of upcoming blockbusters including Escape Plan, starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger; Leonardo DiCaprio and Mathew McConaugheys Wolf of Wallstreet; the next installment of the Hunger Games: Catching Fire starring the Academy-award winning Jennifer Lawrence; 12 Years a Slave, starring Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender; I, Frankestein, starring Aaron Eckhart, and Sin City 2, featuring Hollywoods biggest action heroes Bruce Willis, Daniel Craig and Clive Owen.
The networks growing digital footprint enables OSN subscribers access to Eagle Films titles on OSN Plus HD, the regions first 3D, HD, internet enabled satellite receiver and recorder, as well as OSN Play, the regions first online television viewing platform.
