The product, customised especially for customers in the MENA region, comes after extensive research and surveys found that safe viewing for kids is a key priority for consumers.
Pay-TV network OSN has launched a new product called Box of Wonders for its consumers in the MENA region. The platform will allow for enhanced search functionality, faster content discovery and safer viewing experiences for children. The service is available as part of the OSN Home subscription package.
Box of Wonders will make use of AI technology and machine learning in order to optimise the streaming system to the needs of the consumers. This ensures that children can now browse the platform safely, without parental supervision. The service has also added an exclusive children’s page, which offers a range of premium content for children aged 12 and below.
The product, customised especially for customers in the MENA region, comes after extensive research and surveys where it was found that safe viewing for kids is a key priority for consumers.
Senior Vice President, Strategy, OSN, Devrim Melek commented: “The new “Box of Wonders” is the result of many months of careful planning and in-depth research into the consumer mind-set. Customer-centricity is at the heart of our business, and our team has been working closely with customers to prioritize key functionalities of the technology. Our research found that content discovery, family viewing and enhanced control were top of our customer’s lists.”
