OSN has announced the addition of a new psycho-thriller drama series to its list of original productions. Kayd Majhool (Anonymous) will debut on OSN ‘Ya Hala Al Oula’ and OSN Streaming App on March 18. The series stars Basel Khayat and Abdelmonem Amayri in intense roles.
Directed by Alsadeer Masoud and written by Mohamed Abu Laban and Lewa’a Yazajy, Kayd Majhool (Anonymous) is an eight-episode psychological thriller that follows two parallel stories intertwining at the end of the season. The first story highlights the investigations of two high-profile murders, led by a sharp and meticulous investigator, Khaldoun (played by Ehab Shaabaan). The second storyline introduces the audience to Samir Abdulrahim (played by Abdelmonem Amayri), a tailor and taxi driver who has had a financial misfortune and is on the brink of mental collapse. The two stories gradually link together as the investigation reveals the perpetrator of the murders.
The series will also be available in English subtitles as well as English dubbing for the wider segments of audience in the region.
Speaking about the series, Rolla Karam, Interim Chief Content Officer at OSN said: “Kayd Majhool (Anonymous) is the first Arabic psycho-thriller added to our portfolio of originals launching this year. We are excited to be launching this fifth original production, further cementing OSN’s mission to bringing local content to Arab and non-Arab viewers alike, as we’re confident that the series will appeal to a wide audience across the region.”
