The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards 2020 is set to take place on September 21.
OSN is set to air 22 Emmy-nominated series and movies in the Middle East for the month of September, ahead of the Emmy Awards 2020. Live-action Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian, which will be airing on OSN’s streaming app, bagged 15 Emmy nominations.
The HBO sci-fi series Westworld, satire news and talk show Last Week Tonight, and comedy-drama Insecure, received 11, nine and eight nominations respectively. OSN subscribers can also tune in to catch the comedy What We Do in the Shadows that secured nine nominations.
The Golden Globe winner Ramy Youssef scored three nominations for his Arab-American comedy Ramy. Killing Eve’s which secured eight nominations is also available exclusively on OSN.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah received six nominations. Moreover, Watchmen secured the highest nominations in this year’s Emmy Awards with a striking 26 nominations, and HBO’s Succession, with 18 nominations, will be available to OSN viewers in the coming weeks.
Other shows available on OSN’s ‘2020 Emmy Nominees’ section include Euphoria (six nominations), Curb Your Enthusiasm (four nominations), Big Little Lies (five nominations), Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (nine nominations), and The Handmaid’s Tale (10 nominations).
