To catch up on all thats happened in the land of Westeros so far, or to find out why the return of HBOs most popular show to date is so eagerly awaited, all 40 episodes from seasons 1-4 are available to enjoy via OSNs exclusive On-demand service and on OSN Play. Fans can also watch several behind-the-scenes and special features underlining OSNs credentials as the home for HBOs award-winning series.
Khulud Abu Homos, OSNs Executive Vice President for Programming, said: We are delighted to bring the most-watched series in HBO history and a worldwide TV phenomenon, Game of Thrones at the same minute that it is telecast in the US to the region. OSN has redefined TV industry norms in the region with our focus on bringing brand-new series and shows at the same time of their international premiere.
This is truly unprecedented and offers our subscribers to be part of the global television experience and not spoil their suspense. This is a game changer for the industry and we are strengthening our portfolio of same-minute telecasts with seven popular series this year.
Game of Thrones is based on the bestselling book series by George R.R. Martin, and set in the fantasy continents of Westeros and Essos, where summers and winters can last years. The Emmy Award-winning drama series returns in April with an all-new season of duplicity and treachery, nobility and honour, conquest and triumph. Several compelling storylines will play out in the new season, beginning with a power vacuum that protagonists across Westeros and Essos look to fill.
The return cast includes: Peter Dinklage (Emmy for this role), Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Kit Harington, Diana Rigg, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and others.
Theres plenty to look forward to this season, with R.R. Martin, claiming that there will be many surprises along the way. People are going to die who dont die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy, he told fans at the Writers Guild West Awards.
