OSN+ will premiere its highly anticipated first-ever original mini-series, The Fashionista, on January 9, 2025. Episodes of the six-episode dramedy will drop weekly on OSN+. The OTT platform has also released the show’s official trailer, offering a first look into the satirical, glamorous, and cutthroat world of social media influencers in the Gulf region.
The Fashionista is developed and produced by National Creative Industries Group (NCIG Studios) and filmed entirely in Kuwait, spotlighting the region’s exceptional talent and creativity. The series follows Maryam, an ambitious self-help enthusiast turned aspiring influencer. While her noble goal to inspire others begins with good intentions, her relentless thirst for fame soon takes centre stage, leading to a rollercoaster of rivalry, ambition, and digital drama.

The series delivers humour, heart, and unexpected twists as it dives into the highs and lows of influencer culture in the Gulf. The mini-series stars a powerhouse cast that includes Lulu Al Mulla as Maryam, Bibi Alabdulmohsen, Ascia, Fay Fouad, Mohammed Mirza, Hamad Ashkanani, Yousef Al Bloushi, Jamal Al-Radhan, Salwa Khattab, and Huda Al-Khateeb.
The Fashionista is the latest addition to OSN+’s growing slate of original content. It builds on the success of Yellow Bus, OSN+’s first original film, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. This new mini-series marks another milestone in OSN+’s commitment to supporting regional productions and offering premium Arabic-language content that resonates with audiences across MENA.
