Among those detained include Alwaleed al-Ibrahim, owner of television network MBC.

Saudi Arabia detained 11 princes, four current ministers and tens of former ministers in a probe by a new anti-corruption body headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television reported.
According to a senior Saudi official, as reported by Reuters, who declined to be identified under briefing rules, those detained include Alwaleed al-Ibrahim, owner of television network MBC. Also on the list are Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding and the owner of the Rotana Group, one of the region’s largest entertainment companies.
Others on the list include Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, minister of the National Guard, Prince Turki bin Abdullah, former governor of Riyadh province and Saoud al-Daweesh , former chief executive of Saudi Telecom, among others.
Some detainees were believed to be held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in the diplomatic quarter of Riyadh, sources in contact with the government told Reuters. The hotel and an adjacent facility were the site of an international conference promoting Saudi Arabia as an investment destination last month.
