Palestinian filmmaker and journalist Bisan Atef Owda has received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Hard News Feature Story for her short-form report It’s Bisan From Gaza and I’m Still Alive. The report documents Owda’s daily life incidents in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Israeli aggression that has devastated the region since October 7, 2023. The report also won a Peabody Award earlier this year.
