Renowned automation sales professional, Iain Wood, joins the company as Regional Sales Manager India. Having held a number of senior sales positions in the broadcast sector, Iain has an in-depth knowledge of automation and playout technologies, and extensive experience of addressing the needs of the Indian broadcast community. He will be supporting Pebble Beach Systems expansion into this active marketplace, and consolidating the companys position as a trusted provider of automation solutions.
The automation market is very well developed in India, with a large number of legacy systems in place. With installations already on air at broadcasters including Mathrubhumi, Zee TV and Prime News, Pebble Beach Systems is well placed to make waves in this thriving region, and Im confident that our strong mix of innovative automation solutions and superb customer service will deliver successes for us in the months and years to come, says Iain.
The company has also strengthened its presence in the Asia-Pacific, with the appointment of Stuart Wood (no relation to Iain!) to provide local support to customers in the region from the companys Singapore office. With a number of major contracts due to be commissioned within the next few months, this is a key appointment which underlines Pebble Beach Systems commitment to the region.
