Philip Dunne, Minister of State for Defence Procurement and Air Commodore John Philliban, Head Joint User of C4ISR, Joint Forces Command both of the UK Ministry of Defence have joined the 17th annual Global MilSatCom conference and exhibition to provide the opening ministerial and opening host nation address.

The 17th annual event will feature the industrys most senior military representatives alongside leading SatCom solution providers and operators from across the globe. The three day conference agenda will include international presentations from the likes of: Polish Armed Forces, DGA France, Canadian Department of National Defence, US Air Force, United States Strategic Command, Bundeswehr, Royal Netherlands Army, Nigerian Navy, Philippine Navy, New Zealand Defence Force, MoD Japan, NATO Communications and Information Agency plus many more.
The SMi Group have introduced three new workshops to this years event taking place on the 2nd November 2015. Workshop A will be hosted by Hosted Payload Alliance and will focus on Global Government Payload Exploration. Workshop B discusses How Small Satellites Can Enhance Military Communications Whilst Maintaining Cost-Efficiency, hosted by Surrey Satellite Technologies and workshop C will be hosted by The Aerospace Corporation who will discuss Perspectives on Ground Systems.
