The project was first announced at the Berlin International Film Festival's European Film Market earlier this month. The film will be shot in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles.
Pierce Brosnan is in Abu Dhabi to shoot for The Misfits, an upcoming action-heist film directed by Renny Harlin. The film stars Pierce Brosnan as the lead, along with Jamie Chung, Hermione Corfield and Nick Cannon.
Set in the Middle East, the film follows a master criminal Richard Pace (Pierce Brosnan), who finds himself caught up in a major gold heist with implications that go far beyond what he could have previously planned for.
