The company confirmed the project which is part of its post-COVID plans among other pending productions.
Nigerian production company Play Network Studios’ CEO Charles Okpaleke has announced the company’s plans to commence its first Nollywood animation.
The announcement was confirmed via Okpaleke’s Instagram post, where he wrote: “We never stop. We are excited about our new Animation studio project. I think Nigeria is ripe for some Nollywood Animation blockbusters, let’s change the narrative for our kids as well! Post-COVID would be amazing by God’s grace.”
In other posts, Okpaleke announced the production of three more Nollywood classics – Rattle Snake, Nneka the Pretty Serpent and Glamour Girls.
While Rattle Snake is scheduled to release in cinemas this November, Glamour Girls would be released in December 2021.
