The UHK-X700 is designed for use in studio or outdoor applications and couples with the BSX-100 base station or CCU-X100 camera control unit.
Prime Vision Studio, a Dubai-based provider of broadcast quality studio and mobile television content creation services, has announced its investment in Ikegami UHK-X700 4K studio/EFP cameras to bolster its production capabilities. Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, Prime Vision Studio brings extensive expertise in systems design and operation, covering studio-based and location events.

We were also impressed by the support we received from Ikegami Middle East. Eight UHK-X700 camera systems including a high-frame-rate version have been added to our rental fleet. These will be available for dry hire, crewed hire or as part of a complete production management service.”

The Ikegami UHK-X700, part of the Unicam XE 4K series, is tailored for both studio and outdoor use, featuring three 2/3-inch CMOS 4K sensors with a global shutter for distortion-free imaging. The camera supports full HDR/SDR and offers flexibility in colour space selection. Additionally, high frame-rate shooting options enable capturing fast motion in sports or stage events.
When paired with the Ikegami BSX-100 base station, the UHK-X700 allows for extended cable lengths of up to 3 km, supporting simultaneous output in HD SDR and UHD HDR formats. The lightweight design, coupled with advanced optical sensitivity and peripheral options, makes the UHK-X700 a versatile choice for professional productions.
