Shams and Exceed Media have joined hands to establish a joint venture company to act as the training arm for the Sharjah Media City. The joint venture company will provide training courses in media, computer and software in addition to various sectors.
Sharjah Media City (Shams) has announced signing a cooperation agreement with Toronto-based Exceed Media for the establishment of a joint venture company that will act as the media training arm for Sharjah Media City. The joint venture company will provide training courses in media, computer and software in addition to various sectors.
Emphasising the importance of this agreement, HE Dr Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City, said the media training arm of Shams will provide training courses and platforms for all interested corporations and individuals. He added that based on Shams vision, the joint venture aims to develop and train talent and human resources working in media and creative sectors, achieve the regional leadership in education and training for media and creative sectors and support the development of creative media content.
The Chairman also stated that the agreement with Exceed Media is aimed at benefitting from their broad experience in the creation of a variety of media content for television, radio, cinema, print and audio media, internet and modern media. Exceed Media have experience in government, education and training sector through their partnership with leading training centers and professional trainers from across the world to help corporations and individuals improve efficiency and creativity at the workplace, he added.
