Synergy and DMC Channel in Egypt have announced a lineup of new TV shows in the past week.
With Ramadan drawing close, Egyptian production houses and channels are promoting trailers of new TV shows that will premiere during the Holy Month.
Earlier this week, DMC Channel released the promo for Valentino, a series that will launch during Ramadan.
Starring Egyptian actor Adel Emam, the series will screen exclusively on Watch It, in addition to DMC Channel. The series is produced by Egyptian production company Synergy.
Synergy has also released the promo for Layalina (Our Days), which will be aired on CBC channel. The series takes place during the 1950s and 1980s, highlighting the changes in the lives of different Egyptian families.
Layalina stars Ghada Adel, Eyad Nassar, Khaled el-Sawy, and Sabrine. It is written by Ahmed Abdel Fattah and directed by Ahmed Saleh.
Besides this, the promo for a new TV series The End, starring Egyptian actor Youssef El Sherif has also been released. The Sci-fi series is set in 2120. Based on an idea by El Sherif and written by Amr Samir Atef, the Synergy production is directed by Yasser Samy. The dystopian series marks the third cooperation between the actor and Synergy after Kafr Delhab and Caesar.
Last week, Synergy also released the promo for El-Brince, another Ramadan series scheduled to premiere on DMC channel. The show stars Mohamed Ramadan, Nour, Ahmed Zaher and Salwa Osman, among others.
The promo shows disputes and quarrels between Radwan El-Brince (Mohamed Ramadan) and his brothers and sisters, with a touch of suspense.
