Dr Nashwa Al Ruwaini has been awarded an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration and Management Studies from the Oxford College for Research and PhD Studies, one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe and the world. This comes as a recognition of her achievements in the field of media and as an entrepreneur, helming the Abu-Dhabi based Pyramedia Group as CEO and board member.
Speaking about her achievement, Dr Nashwa Al Ruwaini said: “It is a great honor that the Oxford College for Research and PhD Studies has granted me this honorary degree, and I am extremely pleased to accept it and I dedicate it to the UAE and to the Mother of the Emirates, HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation who has established a supportive platform for women in the UAE to achieve success locally, regionally and internationally.

Besides Pyramedia Media Production and Consultancy, Dr Ruwaini is the CEO for Al Joude Investments, Joude Advertising and Publicity, Delma Medical Centre and founder of Nashwa Jewellery, and Al Majlis restaurant and cafe chain. Dr Ruwaini is also the founder and Chairman of the Nashwa Foundation, a charity that is dedicated to philanthropic work across the Arab world.
