A specially designed vending machine had spectators in fits of laughter as kids, students and parents roared their way to prizes.
Quest Arabiyas interactive vending machines asked contestants to roar like a tiger, answer trivia questions and run as fast as a car for the chance to win a range of prizes.
The Pan Arab TV channel filmed all the action and reaction and has now released a hilarious short video on its social media platforms capturing all the funniest moments.
The vending machine was placed in the communal areas of Abu Dhabi University and Umm Al Emarat Park (previously known as Mushrif Park) to promote the factual entertainment channel, which launched in December last year featuring programmes covering various genres including Nature & Wildlife and Turbo.
The participants efforts were matched by the various reactions of the unassuming people passing by.
Players ranging from 3 to 53 years-old were tested on their general knowledge, ability to roar like a wild cat and accelerate faster than a car, instantly rewarding those that were able to overcome two of the three daring challenges with a variety of prizes including chocolate bars and cuddly toys.
Quest Arabiya, which has a broad appeal to a wide demographic of Arabic-speaking males and females, covers everything from Extreme Outdoors to Engineering, People & Places and Science & Space, making it the regions premier channel for the whole family to enjoy together. It also aims to become the go-to platform for showcasing the fabulous talent, landscapes and activities available across the region.
