Red Bee Media is showcasing the companys capabilities in distribution and live remote production at IBC 2018.
Through a Mobile Radio Studio in cooperation with Media Park Live, unbranded and YPCA/New Business Radio, Red Bee Media is providing live visual radio and streams throughout the whole show between 10:00 and 17:00. The setup includes remote production with UHD/HD cameras, remote graphics, live broadcasting, live streaming to OTT and connectivity services. The Mobile Radio Studio is located in Hall 13, stand A11 (the Holland Mezzanine) at the RAI, where Red Bee Media also will be broadcasting their own content between 15:00-16:00 Friday to Sunday.
The release stated that Red Bee Media has an established track record in providing live remote production and connectivity services for live events for a number of public and commercial broadcasters and organisations. Examples from 2018 include remote production for the dance festival Defqon.1 and the CELA European Beach Volleyball Championships as well as setting up mobile radio studio for the 2018 Winter Olympics in cooperation with Dutch Public Broadcaster NOS.
At this year’s IBC in Amsterdam, the company is demonstrating all their remote production capabilities, live in action throughout the whole show.
The services provided for the Mobile Radio Studio include delivery of live UHD/HD video, Remote production and monitoring through the Red Bee Media MCR, UHD/HD encoding and transcoding and live and catch-up streams packaged and delivered through OTT. The connectivity is secured by event fibre setup between Red Bee Medias Hilversum facility and the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam. The Mobile Radio Studio will broadcast, and stream video and audio live from IBC 2018, with interviews and analyses from and about the show.
