The Royal Film Commission – Jordan will organise a screening of short films by Saudi filmmakers on February 28 and March 1 at The Rainbow Theater – Jabal Amman at 7 PM.

Taking place on February 28, RFC will screen Becoming, a 70-minute film comprised of five short narratives in Arabic with English subtitles, produced by five different directors.
The film is about Saudi’s ever-changing society, as well as Saudi identity, development, and at times, idleness. Quite simply, a deep look into life itself.
The five short films include Somayya’s Bride, by Noor Alameer, Al Dabah, by Sara Mesfer, Until We See The Light, by Fatima Al Banawi, The Unforgetting Hand, by Hind Al Fahhad, and In Malika Refuge, by Jawaher Al Amri.
On March 1, the screening will open with The Girls who Burned the Night, directed by Sara Mesfer, followed by Faiza Ambah’s Nour Shams, and Fifty Thousand Photographs by Abduljalil Al Nasser.
The event is free and open to individuals who are fully vaccinated.
