George David, the general manager of the Royal Film Commission Jordan has been elected first vice president of the Association of Film Commissioners International.
David is the first Arab Commissioner to hold an executive position in this Association, which brings together more than 300 film commissions from all over the world. He was elected during the executive board meeting in Los Angeles.
David has been heading the Jordanian Commission since 2009. He expressed the hope that this new position will boost the position of Jordan as a filming location, and is looking forward to contributing to the advancement of Film Commissions worldwide and enabling further cooperation between them.
