Rohde & Schwarz has announced the hire of two industry veterans, Lou Moyer and Carlos Carmona as part of the continuous expansion of its team in the United States.
Rohde & Schwarz has announced the hire of two industry veterans, Lou Moyer and Carlos Carmona, as part of the continuous expansion of its broadcast and media team in the United States.
In his new role as Broadcast Field Engineer, Moyer will be in charge of providing all Rohde & Schwarz transmitter customers with support and guidance on field service and installations throughout the ongoing FCC repack. Moyer joins Rohde & Schwarz with more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently holding a position as Lead Field Service Engineer for more than six years with GatesAir. He also spent four years with Harris as a Video Networking Service Manager and Installation Engineer, following almost three years running his own transmitter consulting business, Moyer & Associates. Prior to that, Moyer spent five years installing and servicing transmitters with Manion & Associates, as well as an additional 13 years with Harris in various engineering roles.
Carmona comes to Rohde & Schwarz with more than 20 years of experience in Post Production, where he most recently served as a Senior Solutions Architect at NBCUniversal Media. Prior to that, he spent three years as a Production Manager for Client Production Services at Sony Pictures Entertainment and also held the position as a Production Manager for Deluxe Digital Studios and as an Audio and Film Technician for DreamWorks SKG. In his new role as Broadcast & Media Solutions Architect, Carmona will primarily focus on ensuring that Broadcast & Media customers will have support at every stage of their relationship with Rohde & Schwarz.
