Arabic media giant Rotana has launched a free online video-on-demand service in partnership with EGM Worldwide to stream Arabic films, plays and TV series worldwide.
RotanaCinema.com allows access to more than 100,000 hours of entertainment, with daily updates to ensure fresh content. It has been built for a wide range of compatible devices, according to the companies. A portal dedicated to users of smart phones and mobile devices will also be rolled out soon.
“It is our belief that Arabs from around the world should have the ability to connect not only with Rotana’s vast entertainment library but also with greatest ease to its heritage,” commented Andreas Roell, CEO of EGM Worldwide.
“We are extremely excited about this launch as we are showing footage that has never been available online.”
