With a keen eye on technological advancements, the group excelled in television production, spawning several successful projects that resonated strongly with audiences. The expansion of services on the Roya TV website and application, offering 40 live channels with diverse themes, marked a significant enhancement to user experience. Garnering 7m users and 126m views in 2023, Roya TV packages became a focal point of engagement. The introduction of the Roya Play application, featuring engaging competitions during Ramadan, captivated 1.8m users, with 150 prizes, including three cars, distributed at the competition’s culmination.
Roya Media Group achieved record-breaking viewership across websites, platforms, and applications, accumulating a staggering 279m views and engaging 25m unique users. Digital followers soared to 60m, reflecting a notable 26.6% increase from 2022.
In response to evolving social media trends, Roya Group strategically launched 14 channels on WhatsApp and 13 pages on the Threads application. Snapchat channels experienced an impressive 72.71% increase in subscribers from the previous year.
The inauguration of a 24/7 live news channel on the Roya TV website and application, featuring the historic inclusion of visually impaired broadcaster Rashid Al Rababah, showcased the group’s commitment to diverse and inclusive media representation.
