The Rugby World Cup returns this month to OSN. This will be the fourth time that the pay-TV network brings the tournament to the regions screens, with live and exclusive coverage of all 48 matches in HD.
OSN Sports 1 HD has become OSN Sports Rugby World Cup HD for the duration of the tournament; the channel is free and dedicated to the biggest event in the rugby union calendar and the third largest sporting tournament in the world.
The channel will include classic Rugby World Cup matches, documentaries, previews and highlights. All of the live matches will be broadcast on the channel and will be complemented by extensive pre and post-match studio coverage providing expert analysis by OSNS team of former international stars.
The OSN World Cup team of rugby legends have been carefully chosen to represent the wide spread of nationalities in the region to give customers the best viewing experience and views from both hemispheres. The team is made up of one of Britains leading sports presenters, Jim Rosenthal; British and Irish Lions centre pairing from the victorious 1997 tour of South Africa, Englands Jeremy Guscott and Wales Scott Gibbs, South African Rugby World Cup winning coach Jake White, New Zealands great open side flanker Josh Kronfeld, 1999 Rugby World Cup winner Australian Joe Roff and 1995 Rugby World Cup winner South African Joel Stransky.
