The partnership will help foster curiosity, creativity and a love for learning among children everywhere while elevating the global presence of African storytelling.
Rushlake Media has teamed up with Ubongo, Africa’s producer of educational entertainment, to distribute its children’s series Akili and Me, Nuzo and Namia and Ubongo Kids across key markets in North America and Europe. The partnership aims to expand the reach of engaging educational content to young audiences worldwide.
Ubongo’s approach to learning combines entertainment, mass media and kid-centered design, currently reaching over 42m children across Africa each month. By providing localised, cost-effective and engaging learning experiences, Ubongo enhances literacy, numeracy and social-emotional development among young learners. With Rushlake Media’s expertise in digital distribution, these programmes will now be accessible to a wider global audience.
Philipp Hoffmann, Founder and CEO of Rushlake Media, commented: “We are excited to partner with Ubongo in bringing these outstanding educational series to new audiences. The need for accessible and high-quality learning resources is greater than ever, and we are honoured to support Ubongo in its mission to empower young learners globally through engaging, research-driven content.”

Partnering with Rushlake Media allows us to bring our beloved educational content to even more families across North America and Europe, ensuring that more children can benefit from our research-driven approach to learning. We are thrilled about this opportunity to expand our reach and inspire kids worldwide.”
