Sanjay Raina has announced his departure from Fox Networks Group MENA following the completion of Disney’s acquisition of the company in the region, BroadcastPro Middle East has learnt.
Raina was one of the first TV executives in the region to migrate from a free-to-air model and explore paid options for Fox channels in the MENA region. He is reported to have been responsible for the subsequent success of the network in the region and making it a profitable media business.
Prior to Fox, Raina has served in several senior executive roles including as COO at Ten Sports and Senior VP of Platform Marketing at Astro Television, Malaysia among others.
Raina has, thus far, not confirmed if he will be taking on a new role in the region.
