The launches will expand Arabsat's reach across the Americas, complementing its current service offering of 650 TV channels and over 245 radio and HD channels delivered across EMEA.
Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) has launched Kuwaiti Channel-1 and Al-Qurain channel in the Americas.
The channels were introduced to the North American continent via HD broadcasting on the Galaxy 19 satellite, located at orbital position 97 West, utilising a frequency of 12146 MHz with vertical polarisation. In South America, Arabsat initiated the channels through the Hispasat-6 satellite, positioned at orbital location 30 West, employing HD broadcasting on the frequency 12132 MHz with horizontal polarisation.
