EDGE entity KATIM, a provider of ultra-secure communications and data protection solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nokia. The partnership aims to develop secure telecommunications networks for mission-critical and defence applications in the UAE.
The MoU was signed by Didier Pagnoux, CEO of KATIM, and Mohamed Samir, VP of Middle East Mobile Networks, Nokia, during the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX).
Under this agreement, KATIM and Nokia will collaborate to develop and implement secure telecommunications networks, including Military 5G and 5G in-a-box applications. These networks will be designed to meet the highest standards of security, reliability and compliance, ensuring robust communication infrastructure for national security and critical sectors.
