This collaboration underscores the commitment of both Eutelsat and InterSAT to bridge the digital divide in Africa and ensure widespread access to connectivity across the continent.
Eutelsat Group has announced the extension of its partnership with InterSAT, Africa’s satellite service provider, aimed at supporting InterSATs expansion in the pan-African enterprise and retail segments.
Under this multi-year strategic agreement, InterSAT will integrate Ku-Band capacity over Central and Eastern Africa on Eutelsats Eutelsat 70B satellite into its existing portfolio, which already includes Ka-Band capacity on the Eutelsat Konnect satellite.
Positioned at the 70.5° East orbital position, Eutelsat 70B boasts broad wide beam coverage and four high-performance fixed beams, ensuring robust onboard connectivity.
